My name is Saghar (Sasha) Mohammadi. I am a licensed psychotherapist who focuses on providing emotional support to people going through difficult times, such as worry, despair, or transitions. I use a trauma-informed approach and an anti-oppression framework in my work with refugees, and I am fluent in Farsi, and English. Through building on clients' strengths and encouraging self-awareness, emotional clarity, and empowerment, my goal is to help them become more resilient. By combining client-centered and humanistic approaches with evidence-based techniques, including ISTDP and CBT, I encourage clients to connect with their beliefs and ambitions and use effective coping mechanisms.
